# publish_command()

## publish_command(func: Callable) → Callable[source]

Decorator that publishes the [`Command`](https://dev.nominal.io/instro/ref/library/instro.lib.types.Command.md#instro.lib.types.Command "instro.lib.instrument.Command") returned by an instrument method.

Channel naming is the call site’s responsibility; the wrong return type raises
rather than silently publishing as the wrong kind.
