# Get Assets (Poly)

Returns one or more types.  
This is a polymorphic function, that will accept a single RID or an array of RIDs.

This VI is polymorphic: it has 2 instances, below. Choose one with the polymorphic selector, or wire the inputs and LabVIEW picks it.

## asset.get

Triggers an ingest job, allowing either creating a new dataset or uploading to an existing one. This endpoint is meant to supersede all other ingestion endpoints as their functionality gets migrated to this one.
