# batch_compute_buckets

## nominal.experimental.compute.batch_compute_buckets(client, exprs, start, end, buckets=1000)

Computed bucketed summaries for a batch of numeric expressions

Parameters:
:   - **client** ([*NominalClient*](https://dev.nominal.io/python/ref/generated/nominal.core.NominalClient.md#nominal.core.NominalClient "nominal.core.client.NominalClient"))

      Nominal client to make requests with
    - **exprs** ([*Iterable*](https://docs.python.org/3/library/typing.html#typing.Iterable "(in Python v3.15)")*[*[*NumericExpr*](https://dev.nominal.io/python/ref/generated/nominal.experimental.compute.dsl.exprs.NumericExpr.md#nominal.experimental.compute.dsl.exprs.NumericExpr "nominal.experimental.compute.dsl.exprs.NumericExpr")*]*)

      Expressions to compute buckets for
    - **start** ([*int*](https://docs.python.org/3/builtins/functions.html#int "(in Python v3.15)"))

      Starting timestamp to summarize data from
    - **end** ([*int*](https://docs.python.org/3/builtins/functions.html#int "(in Python v3.15)"))

      Ending timestamp to summarize data until
    - **buckets** ([*int*](https://docs.python.org/3/builtins/functions.html#int "(in Python v3.15)"))

      Number of buckets to return per expression

Returns:
:   A Sequence of sequences of buckets. The top level sequence corresponds to the input expressions, whereas the
    inner sequences correspond to the individual buckets for each input expression. The order of buckets
    returned matches the order of expressions provided.

Raises:
:   [**ExceptionGroup**](https://docs.python.org/3/builtins/exceptions.html#ExceptionGroup "(in Python v3.15)") – One or more expressions failed to compute; each failure is a [`RuntimeError`](https://docs.python.org/3/builtins/exceptions.html#RuntimeError "(in Python v3.15)") in
    `exceptions`.
