# pandas

Upload pandas DataFrames to Nominal and export channel data into DataFrames or Series.
This integration is installed with `nominal`.

Start with [`datasource_to_dataframe()`](https://dev.nominal.io/python/ref/generated/nominal.thirdparty.pandas.datasource_to_dataframe.md#nominal.thirdparty.pandas.datasource_to_dataframe "nominal.thirdparty.pandas.datasource_to_dataframe") to export a dataset,
or [`upload_dataframe_to_dataset()`](https://dev.nominal.io/python/ref/generated/nominal.thirdparty.pandas.upload_dataframe_to_dataset.md#nominal.thirdparty.pandas.upload_dataframe_to_dataset "nominal.thirdparty.pandas.upload_dataframe_to_dataset") to upload to an existing one.
The reference also includes helpers for creating datasets and retrieving individual channels.
